He looked around to find new faces, faces he’s never seen before. And right in the corner, his eyes fixed onto a girl with her head down and her long, wavy hair covering her face. “I wonder how does she look like,” he thought to himself. All of a sudden, she looked up. And that was the first time their eyes met. It was as if he could see into her soul, a girl full of passion and love for others, a girl full of dreams that were unaccomplished. It was at that moment when he whispered to himself, “Hello beautiful.”
It never got further to saying it in person. He never had the courage or any reason to speak to her. Words start to disappear before he could even form a simple sentence. “What is this feeling inside of me?” He did not have the slightest clue. That feeling was in fact something he’s never felt before in years. He caught butterflies in his stomach. He never really spoke a word to her for the next 8 months. Finding out she had a boyfriend and was happy with him kind of killed his chance to even say hello.
"She’s single. They broke up months ago." No fucking way. Was this a sign? Was this an opportunity not to be missed?
"Go je don’t scared."
So the first hello came. And the rest was history.
